OUR CABINS
Our cabins sit close to the sea, surrounded by mountains, changing weather, and the quiet rhythm of island life.
Each cabin has space for up to six guests and is designed for comfortable, slower stays close to nature.
Upstairs you’ll find three bedrooms and a bathroom.
Two of the bedrooms face the sea and share a balcony overlooking the water. The third bedroom faces the mountains and the landscape behind the cabins.
Downstairs, the cabins have an open kitchen and living area where many guests spend slow mornings, shared dinners, and quiet evenings after a day outside.
Large windows bring the landscape into the room throughout the day. The light changes constantly here — from soft winter colours to bright summer nights beneath the midnight sun.
The kitchens are fully equipped for cooking and longer stays, and each cabin also includes a bathroom, hallway, and laundry room.
Life close to nature
Life on Vengsøy moves a little slower.
Some days are spent hiking in the mountains, fishing on the sea, or walking along the shoreline. Other days are quieter — coffee outside, changing weather, sauna evenings, or simply staying indoors while the wind moves across the island.
Outside the cabins you’ll find terraces facing the sea, as well as access to our outdoor jacuzzi, sauna, and fireplace area by the water.
During fishing season, guests also have access to boats and facilities for preparing fish after returning from the sea.
Vengsøy is not a place built around crowds or busy schedules. It’s a place for slowing down, spending time outdoors, and experiencing the changing seasons of Northern Norway a little closer to nature.
